When you arrive at Urheilukatu 1, you’ll find the entrance through the side door, with stairs leading down to where we meet. Our team will be there to welcome you, help you find your way, and answer any questions you might have. Whether it’s your first time at church or you’ve been around church for years, you’re very welcome at River Lapland.

Our services are bilingual — Finnish and English. We want everyone to be able to follow along, connect with God, and feel at home, whether Finnish is your first language or not. Our services include worship, a Bible-based message, prayer, and an opportunity to encounter God. Come as you are — there’s no dress code and no need to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors.

River Kids is available for children during the service. Your children will have their own age-appropriate Kids Church, where they can learn about God, have fun, worship, and build friendships in a safe and welcoming environment. We believe church is for the whole family, and we want your kids to love being part of it too.

After the service, coffee will be available, giving you a chance to stay, meet some people, and have a conversation. We’d love for you to stick around — you don’t have to rush out when the service ends.

We know that visiting a new church can feel a little unfamiliar. Maybe you’re new to Rovaniemi, new to Finland, looking for an international church, exploring faith, or simply looking for a church where you can grow. Whatever brought you here, you are welcome at River Lapland.
